To Wiccans, Pagens, & Anyone Else Who Wishes To Read
I first had a story here written by an unknown author, and I enjoyed its message about the anger towards Pagans. But looking through my computer one day, I found this poem I wrote a long while ago. I'll leave it here for your enjoyment, and hopefully, a lesson.

Sitting here I face problems,
No person should ever face.
Problems of religious freedom.
Of hatred and distaste.
I face it from my enemies,
I face it from some friends.
But I also face it with my family,
Who don't always make amends.
Just because I don't see
What you see as truth.
That is my decision to make,
Not yours or any other brute.
I walk down the hall,
Watching as they stare.
And I cringe because I know,
Some of those are glares.
I wish to spread my hands
To them and weep and ask,
"Why do you hate me,
When we are the same with no masks?
"All we want is love,
Caring and happiness.
But what I beg of you,
Is just for some acceptance!
"We are human, the two of us,
We are not different at all.
No matter gender, race, or religion,
We always try to stand up tall."
I face problems every passing day,
Of prejudice and hate,
But I will hold my head high,
And hold on to my faith.
